Lekker Collective - Office Hours
introducing: OFFICE HOURS
🤝 the work behind the work 🤝
Starting next Tue, March 10th, we will be hosting monthly mentoring sessions for creatives to drop in + get advice, insight, or tools on how to navigate the admin needed to sustain a creative career.
Creative industry is isolating enough, without navigating the backend by yourself too.
We don’t know everything, but what we do know we would be happy to share.
Send us a message or drop a 🙋♀️ in the comments if we can be of any help.
• session is free of charge
• 45 min each slot
• 2nd Tuesday of every month for the rest of the year
• hosted at @refugeworldwide / @refugeworldwide.space
Love, Lekker Collective 🫂
In Berlin there is so much gatekeeping. What if we shared our knowledge?
Processes and strategy, not a creative workshop. Art needs structure to flourish. The aim is to equip creatives with practical tools that support consistency and long term sustainability.
Office Hours responds to Berlin’s culture of gatekeeping by opening access to the knowledge creatives are often left to figure out alone.
Built from the lived experience of running an independent record label in Germany, it focuses on the operational side of creative careers: funding, budgets, contracts, release strategy, PR, structure, and decision making.
Once a month, during daytime hours at Refuge Worldwide’s NK space, Lekker Collective founder Donna Arendse hosts bookable 30-minute sessions where artists and creatives can talk through projects or work alongside others. It is not consultancy. It is shared problem solving.
Set within the daily rhythm of Refuge, Office Hours brings visibility to the invisible labour behind creative work while activating the café as a daytime hub.

Culture
Office Hours creates a structured, low-pressure space for necessary but often overwhelming work. It reduces isolation, supports neurodivergent creatives through body-doubling, and shares tools without gatekeeping.
Value
Free, rooted in community building and peer support. Building trust, visibility, and a more sustainable creative ecosystem.
What to Expect-
We blend guided moments, open exploration, and space to reflect—so the experience feels both focused and fluid.
-
Connection is a core part of the process. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the content itself.
-
Led by experienced guides who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.
-
Our events prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.
-
We often include optional check-ins, next steps, or community resources to help you keep the momentum going.
Sample Itinerary-
Workshop participants ease into the day with creative prompts and a welcome circle to get grounded and set the tone.
-
Our first session focuses on the foundations of floral design. From tool basics to flower care and simple composition tips, you’ll start building confidence and finding your creative rhythm.
-
Participants will be responsible for brining their own lunch, but we'll provide water and some additional snacks throughout the day.
-
With the basics fresh, we’ll dive into hands-on arranging. We’ll explore shape, scale, and movement while encouraging personal style through floral design.
-
To close the day, you’ll create a final piece to share with the group. We’ll reflect on your process and celebrate the creativity that unfolded.
